Glanbia Foods are a leading nutrition and ingredients group operating in 34 countries with HQ in Ireland with shares listed on the Irish and London Stock Exchanges. Green Isle Foods is Ireland’s largest frozen food producer with HQ in Co. Kildare, which Mark was involved with a fire safety engineer. Mark has worked on a number of both of these companies Irish plants in preparing and successfully obtaining Fire Safety Certificate approvals for construction of new plant facilities, extensions and alterations to existing facilities.
Mark was involved not only in early stage fire safety designs of the industrial, warehousing and office facilities in each plant, but also in the approvals process with the relevant fire service authorities. As part of this, Mark carried out numerous reviews the design and fire safety measures and various meetings with key stakeholder, particularly setting out the agreed strategy and documenting the design against local as well as British or European codes and strandards.
