Mark was involved in liaising with Dell and the local authorities in ensuring fire safety legislative compliance was met in refurbishing this massive facility that accommodated approx. 3,000 staff members in one it its largest facilities in Europe. Mark prepared both fire safety certificate reporting and drawings in support of successful Fire Safety Certificates based upon the International Building & Fire Codes. As part of this, Mark carried out numerous inspections on site to review the design and fire safety measures and various meetings with key stakeholder, particularly Council in setting out the agreed strategy and documenting the design against International Building Codes and NFPA strandards.
