Mark has worked on numerous heath care and hospital projects ranging from small refurbishments of wards/departments, small and major extensions to major health care developments incorporating centralised heath care facilities across all heath care departments and specialities. Some projects of note include St Vincent’s Private Hospital in Griffith and the Prince of Wales, Randwick. In these and other health care facilities, common problems and solutions around fire and smoke compartmentation were rationalised via fire engineering safety measures. This also incorporated progressive horizontal evacuation strategies and staff training regimes around fire and life safety.
