Mark performed the lead role on a large extension and refurbishment to the existing Rheem facility at Rydalmere. As part of this role, Mark worked closely with the Client and Certifier in developing the fire engineering alternative solution that addressed the exit arrangement, travel distances, smoke hazard management etc including the 3D computer fire and smoke modelling to look at the effects of fire and smoke spread in the building, in order to demonstrate that the acceptance criteria for life safety and fire service intervention was satisfied.
